MOMentumNation is now a part of Collective Bias.

John Andrews, CEO of Collective Bias said, “We’re thrilled to have a social pioneer like Holly joining us at Collective Bias.  Her experience and leadership will be invaluable in our efforts to build Social Fabric into the community of communities.”

“Pioneer” made me laugh–I watched too many episodes of Little House on the Prairie when I was a kid. But I will be coming on as the SVP of Strategy focusing on content and media. I will be getting to do many different things, which will keep my creative juices going. And I will still be leading MOMentumNation.

I’ve known many of the Collective Bias team for years as I’ve had the pleasure of being included in their “family dinners,” on many occasions. These are meals where they invite bloggers, clients, and many from outside their company so they can get to know them better. It’s part of their culture, which I adore. They also wear crazy socks that they post on Instagram/Pinterest and are a company that hugs. I owe Ted Rubin, Chief Social Marketing Officer at Collective Bias, a debt of gratitude for getting me on the invite list. He has been a good friend for years, has supported me always, and lives his mantra… Return on Relationship, a big part of why I joined the team.

Collective Bias is a social shopper media company, based in Bentonville, Arkansas. They weave organic social content into engaging, real-life stories to create millions of impressions leading to increased share of voice, SEO, and ultimately sales for brands and retailers. And since moms and women are the key decision makers and influencers over just about every category of purchases it just seemed like a perfect fit.

The company has satellite offices in New York City, Chicago, Minneapolis, San Francisco, Toronto and London. (Crossing my fingers for a Paris office.)

Collective Bias was named one of America’s Most Promising Companies in 2013 by Forbes and we’re going to do our part to help fulfill that promise.

MOMentum is also now a part of Social Fabric® is a proprietary community consisting of 1,300 shopping-focused influencers with an aggregate multichannel reach in excess of 40 million. Social Fabric is an invite only community and MOMentum is honored to be a part of it.

NOTE: The MOMentumNation site will go down for a couple of days while the site gets transferred to Collective Bias. But we will be Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter during that time and be back on as quickly as we can!

So incredibly excited to finally have you as part of the team. This has been the plan, in my head at least, for a long time. John Andrews has  always been on board and it was all about timing and opportunity. Welcome Holly :-)

    • New era for me…I’ve never been much of a hugger. It was not how I was brought up. But I’m getting used to it!
