Parents do not  realize when their daughter is a child, how fleeting the moments are. And in the blink of an eye, the little girl who did pirouettes (cartwheels) down the hall is dancing her way through her own life. What a joy it was then, what a joy it is now, what a joy it will always be… having a daughter.

Hi Mr. Rubin, I am writing to tell you that your daughter Danielle has been chosen as a First Place winner in the Professional Women Photographer’s Association Student Competition. The website for the organization is here.
Danielle submitted 3-works which were judged by the organization, and she is having them displayed in New York City, along with winning a pretty nice monetary prize. The invitation is able to be read at here.
I should tell you that when the organization contacts me, they ask that we NOT tell the students until they get to exhibition the day of. They feel that the surprise is part of the experience. (…and I agree!)
I am very happy for Danielle! Her work is very thoughtful, and I knew it was just a matter of time until she was awarded for her hard work. This is quite and honor and her resume will benefit greatly by receiving this award. (The money isn’t too shabby either!)
Thanks again for your support!
Sincerely,
Christine
